Do you think you could walk the entire length of Seattle in one day? This Saturday, May 16 you can join a group of Seattle walkers to make the 20+ mile trek from Shoreline to Rainier Valley, with snack breaks and scenic detours along the way. The group starts at 8 am near the Shoreline South/148th light rail station, but you can join at any point, including the post-saunter meetup at the Columbia City Night Market. Expect to spend six to 10 hours walking this year’s suggested route.

Candlelight Concerts in Seattle are always a magical experience, but especially in the spring. You can get tickets to concerts such as ’90s Hip-Hop On Strings at the Arctic Club Hotel or The Best of Hans Zimmer at the Seattle Central Library.
Columbia City Night Market

Spend your Saturday night enjoying food, drinks, music, and good vibes at the Columbia City Night Market. Participants in the Seattle Super Saunter are meeting up at this night market, making it a nice day-to-night plan for your Saturday. There will be a beer garden, a stage with live music, and vendors spread across four city blocks from 6 to 10 pm. This monthly night market prioritizes local makers and Black-owned businesses. It’s free to attend, and it’s also kid-friendly and dog-friendly.

The U District Street Fair returns for two days this weekend for a 15-block celebration along University Way NE. The long-running street fair, now in its 55th year, transforms the heart of the University District into a vibrant hub of arts, food, and music, drawing over 90,000 visitors each year.

This Sunday, Ballard is celebrating Norwegian Constitution Day with a parade, live music, food, and free festivities for all. There will be all-day festivities at various venues such as the National Nordic Museum, Skål Beer Hall, and Leif Erikson Lodge.
