Calling all Seattleites with a sweet tooth: our very own Milk Bar opened today!
We can’t wait to get our hands on a Compost Cookie this weekend. Washington state’s first-ever Milk Bar is now open inside Nordstrom at Bellevue Square. Although we’re a little jealous of the Eastside, we think the 15 minute drive from downtown Seattle is worth it for the Cereal Milk Soft Serve.
If you’re familiar with Milk Bar, go ahead and get in the car. If you’re wondering what on earth we’re talking about, keep reading for all the details!
Milk Bar was born in Manhattan back in 2008 by chef and founder Christina Tosi. Since then, it has gained a cult following for its desserts that evoke childhood nostalgia. In addition to the afore-mentioned cookies and soft serve, Milk Bar offers pie, cakes, and cake truffles. It’s a birthday party game-changer.
When you visit the new Milk Bar in Nordstrom Bellevue Square, you’ll be able to purchase Tosi’s new cookbook, All About Cookies, in addition to their full menu of grab-and-go offerings. We think the location is perfect for fueling your shopping trip with a little sugar rush.
Here’s what Tosi had to say about the new Milk Bar location:
We’re pumped to finally open a Milk Bar store in the greater Seattle area, one of my absolute favorite places to visit. We’ve been popping up in Seattle for the past few years, and I’m constantly in awe of the city’s hospitality and energy.
The Seattle-area Milk Bar store was originally slated to open in the fall of 2022 before it got pushed back to spring 2023. Our very own Milk Bar opened at long last today (Thursday, March 23) so your weekend just got a whole lot sweeter.
