Looking for a unique thing to do in Seattle? You can see Shrek 2 in concert with the Seattle Symphony this May. There will be three live performances of the movie’s soundtrack as Shrek 2 plays on the big screen. Tickets start at just $25 and are on sale now.

Shrek 2 will be projected on the big screen at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. The Seattle Symphony will perform the orchestral score by composer Harry Gregson-Williams while the movie plays.
There will be three chances to catch Shrek 2 in concert with the Seattle Symphony:
- Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, May 12 at 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m.
Ticket prices depend on your seating selection. The cheapest seats are $25 and the most expensive seat will cost a little over $100.
You can pre-purchase parking in the Benaroya Hall Garage for $17 when you purchase your ticket. There is also street parking available.
If you’re hoping to bring your kids along, this particular concert does not have an age recommendation. In general, the Seattle Symphony welcomes children age 5 and up at all performances.
There will be food and beverages available to purchase at Benaroya Hall. In addition to the bars in the lobby that offer snacks and beverages, there is the upscale restaurant MUSE, the more casual cafe Davids & Co., and a coffee shop all located within Benaroya. They all open two hours before most performances.
Even if you’re not planning to grab a bite first, be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the show. As for attire, there is no dress code so feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable—and enjoy the show!
