If you hate flying, this tasty upgrade may make your next flight out of SeaTac a bit better. You’ll now have the chance to skip the typical airplane food in exchange for a Shake Shack burger. This is due to the first-of-its-kind onboard partnership between Shake Shack and Delta.
The Delta x Shake Shack partnership first rolled out on Boston flights last November. As of March 4, 2025, it has now been expanded to Delta flights departing from Seattle, Los Angeles, New York’s LGA, and Atlanta. The flight route must be over 900 miles long, and the offer is only available to first class customers.
Customers flying first class on a Delta flight of 900+ miles out of Seattle can select a Shake Shack burger as their entree before boarding. The burger can be customized if you’d like to add lettuce, tomato, or Shake Shack’s signature ShackSauce. A brownie and chips are included with each meal.
“This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience,” said Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service, “whether that’s making your favorite cheeseburger available at 35,000 feet, or ensuring you have a variety of fresh meals to choose from that fuel you on your adventure.”
Not planning on flying first class anytime soon? Delta and Shake Shack are also teaming up with Uber Eats for a “buy one ShackBurger and get one free” offer on Uber Eats. Delta SkyMiles Members who sign up by March 6 can take advantage of this BOGO offer for a limited time this month.
