About Julefest
Seattle’s Julefest is an annual tradition that brings a traditional Nordic Christmas market to Ballard. The market is outdoors (rain or shine) and is full of Nordic holiday traditions. You’ll be able to shop for gifts from over 30 local artists while enjoying live music. There will be traditional Scandinavian treats as well, from Swedish meatballs and aebleskiver to glogg (mulled wine).
There is also a wide variety of kid-friendly activities planned. Bring your little ones to Julefest to enjoy free activity books, photos with Santa, crafting activities, and more. Children under 12 can attend Julefest for free.
New this year: Julefest Night Market
A new addition to Julefest in 2024 is a 21+ Night Market on Friday, November 22 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. You’ll be able to shop the market’s vendors ahead of the weekend crowd and have festive drinks in the Valhalla Beer Hall. Your night market ticket also grants you access to the rest of Julefest.
