Think you’ve experienced all of Seattle’s rooftop bars? Think again.
There’s nothing like getting drinks with a city view to make you feel like the main character. There are quite a few stunning rooftop bars in Seattle, but naturally we always want more. Astra Hotel is opening its Altitude Sky Lounge Bar on Tuesday, September 6 here in Seattle and we can’t wait to check it out.
Read on for all the details about this new rooftop bar in Seattle!
Astra Hotel is a new, upscale hotel that just came to South Lake Union this past July. Its location is within walking distance of Lake Union as well as many top-tier Seattle restaurants and shops. On the main floor of the hotel you’ll find Seattle’s famous Cafe Ladro as well as Mediterranean-influenced fare at Otium Grill & Greens. And now, starting this month, you’ll be able to go up to the roof of Astra Hotel for cocktails with a view.
ALTITUDE Sky Lounge is an outdoor lounge and terrace six floors up, overlooking all of South Lake Union. That means you’ll get to enjoy an epic view of the Space Needle as well as sparkling Lake Union spread out below. It doesn’t get much more classic Seattle than that.
In addition to craft cocktails (and beer and wine), you’ll be able to snack on charcuteries while listening to live DJ sets. Although we still have a few more weeks of summer weather left in Seattle, this rooftop bar’s cozy fire pits will add warmth year-round and its solarium-inspired lounge will lend an airy outdoor feel to your visit even when it’s rainy.
