You’ll find the temporary ice skating rink in Occidental Square in the downtown neighborhood of Pioneer Square. There is no admissions cost and even the ice skate rentals are free! There will be free performances and even some free treats as well.
Here is the full three-day schedule of events:
Friday, December 9
- 11:00 a.m.: the free ice skating rink opens.
- 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.: Seahawks mascot Blitz and drumline Blue Thunder perform.
- 5:00 p.m.: the ice skating rink closes.
Saturday, December 10
- 11:00 a.m.: the free ice skating rink opens.
- Noon to 3:00 p.m.: Pioneer Square Holiday Market features local vendors, carolers, free hot cocoa and cookies, plus more.
- 5:00 p.m.: the ice skating rink closes.
Sunday, December 11
- 11:00 a.m.: the free ice skating rink opens.
- 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.: A performance by Seattle Kraken’s Red Alert marching band.
- 5:00 p.m.: the ice skating rink closes.
