Looking for something festive and budget-friendly to do in Seattle next month? A free ice skating rink is coming to Pioneer Square for three days only! It’s the perfect holiday activity to do in Seattle with your friends, your date, or your kids.

You’ll find the temporary ice skating rink in Occidental Square in the downtown neighborhood of Pioneer Square. There is no admissions cost and even the ice skate rentals are free! All ages and skill levels are welcome to come enjoy the pop-up rink.
While you’re there, you can also partake in a free holiday market that will be popping up next to the ice rink. There will be over 30 local makers selling crafts, artwork, sustainable gifts and more. Plus, they’ll have food and drink vendors on Friday and Saturday. So you can shop for gifts and refreshments before or after your spin around the rink!

Friday, December 13
- Noon: the free ice skating rink opens.
- 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.: the free holiday market is open.
- 6:00 p.m.: the ice skating rink closes.
Saturday, December 14
- 11:00 a.m.: the holiday market opens.
- Noon: the free ice skating rink opens.
- Noon to 2:00 p.m.: live music, fake snow, and free treats.
- 3:00 p.m.: the market closes.
- 6:00 p.m.: the ice skating rink closes.
Sunday, December 15
- Noon: the ice skating rink opens.
- 6:00 p.m.: the ice skating rink closes.
