As the weather slowly starts to warm up, we’re looking ahead to some of our favorite spring and summer Seattle activities. At the top of our list is attending our favorite summer music festivals! The Day in Day Out Festival takes place every summer at Seattle Center, with headliners such as Bon Iver and Carly Rae Jepson. Unfortunately, Day In Day Out has been canceled for 2025.
Read on for more information.
Headliners and schedule
The headliners at Day In Day Out 2024 were pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen, alt-rock band Bleachers with frontman Jack Antonoff, and Seattle indie-folk band The Head and the Heart. The rest of the lineup included artists such as Suki Waterhouse, Peach Pit, Men I Trust, and The Walkmen.
The headliners in 2023 included Bon Iver and Leon Bridges.
Ticket details
You can start preparing for pre-sale tickets for next year (if the festival returns for 2026) by subscribing to the DIDO newsletter.
If you spring for the VIP tickets, you get access to the 21+ VIP lounge. This includes a dedicated VIP entrance to the festival (no lines!), access to the upper deck and private bathrooms, three complimentary drink tickets for each day, a photo booth, games, comfy lounge seating, VIP-exclusive food trucks, and a great view of the whole festival including the main stage.
If you can only swing general admission tickets, don’t worry. There will be plenty of food trucks and vendors inside the main festival grounds as well. You can also find more food options inside the nearby Seattle Center Armory.
Additional information
The festival typically takes place in July or August, rain or shine. Wondering when your favorite artist will take the stage? Each day’s schedule will be shared here once that info is released.
Want to bring your kids to Day In Day Out Festival? In past years this has been an all-ages music festival, with kids age 8 and under admitted for free. Beer gardens and VIP lounge sections were reserved for ages 21 and up only. We’ll update this post if the all-ages policy changes when the festival returns.
Disappointed about missing out in 2025? You can read more about why Day In Day Out was canceled this year. Until it’s back, you can get more info on the festival website and follow the festival on Instagram for updates.
