You’re going to want to bring your appetite to this event. Seattle’s Chinatown International District (also known as the CID) has some of the best food in the city. This Saturday, August 19 you can wander through the neighborhood for the CID Food Walk from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The CID Food Walk will have many businesses in the Chinatown International District participating with special menus and deals for the day. There will be retail vendors in addition to food and drinks. You can view this Saturday’s participating businesses, their menus, and a map by swiping through the below Instagram post:
If you want a physical menu or have questions, you can stop by Hing Hay Park where there will be an info booth with printed menus and more.
The Chinatown-International District hosts several food walks throughout the year in addition to other events. This Saturday’s is the third and final installment of their summer food walk series for 2023. There is also a Lunar New Year food walk as well as the Small Businesses Saturday food walk that occurs on the last Saturday of November.
Unfortunately, the annual CID Night Market that was scheduled for September 23 has been cancelled due to lack of funding. That’s why it’s more important than ever to show up to events in the Chinatown International District and support the small businesses there. You can also support the non-profit that produces the night market, food walks, and several other events by donating on their website.
