This lineup has us pumped for this year’s Bumbershoot Festival at Seattle Center!
Established in 1971, the Bumbershoot Arts and Music Festival is one of Seattle’s most iconic events. For decades it has showcased local artists and brought the community together to celebrate Seattle’s music, art, food, technology, and culture.
Now the 52nd annual Bumbershoot Festival is back this Labor Day weekend: from Saturday, August 30 to Sunday, August 31, 2025. The lineup is so good this year and all ticket types are on sale now.

When is this year’s Bumbershoot?
Bumbershoot 2025 is taking place during Labor Day Weekend from Saturday, August 30 to Sunday, August 31. The festival opens at 12:30 p.m. each day.
Where will it take place?
You’ll find the Bumbershoot Festival at its traditional home in the heart of Seattle: the 74-acre Seattle Center (right under the iconic Space Needle). Although you can pay to use Seattle Center’s parking garages, it’s very easy to get there via public transportation, biking, or ride shares.
What sort of events and activities can I expect this year?
As implied by its full name, Bumbershoot Arts and Music Festival, this two-day event is more than your typical music fest. There will be a skate ramp, drag performances, wrestling, augmented reality, vintage clothing, a tattoo runway, makeup artists, nail art, pole dancing, tarot readings, and more! You can also expect large-scale installations, lots of yummy food vendors, and immersive experiences.

What are the ticket prices?
GA weekend passes are $175 and a single-day ticket is $142. Looking for the VIP experience? Ages 21+ have the option to upgrade to the deluxe weekend pass for $381. This includes parking, a private entry, a raised viewing platform, and a private lounge and restrooms. And note that only deluxe pass holders will be granted re-entry to the festival.
Children age 12 and under are admitted free! Note that you only get two free children’s tickets with each order. No pets are allowed.
