If you’ve ever gotten stressed out or frustrated while trying to find out if a brewery is dog-friendly, you’re not alone. The creators of Pup Passport invented it after similar struggles with their dog in Portland. Seattle and Portland are both very dog-friendly cities, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy to know whether the brewery you’re going to will let your dog in.
After creating Pup Passport and getting a lot of support from breweries in Portland, the self-described “dog-friendly travel agent in your pocket” took its natural next step to Seattle. All you have to do is scroll through your digital passport to view all the verified dog-friendly breweries in your area. There’s a map feature as well so you can see which breweries are closest to you. Pup Passport says that they’ll be adding new breweries as time goes on.
The cost is $25 for a year-long Pup Passport membership. If you’re only in Seattle for a visit, they also offer several monthly tiers. If you love to bring your dog to Seattle breweries, then Pup Passport is worth checking out not only for its convenience but also for its perks. You can show your Pup Passport to get 50% off your first pint at 20 Seattle-area breweries.
If you’re not into beer or dogs (suspicious, but okay) this also makes a great gift!
