Have you heard? Wayward Vegan reopened its doors recently, and we couldn’t be more pumped. Wayward Vegan has long been a favorite in Seattle among both vegans and non-vegans alike for its plant-based comfort food, so when it closed its doors we were all secretly hoping it would somehow return one day. Then came a Christmas miracle. Wayward Vegan announced at the beginning of December that the restaurant had been purchased by ARISTA Catering, a team of Seattle-based chefs. After a soft opening, Wayward Vegan officially reopened its doors on December 17. They do dine-in and takeout, and also recently extended their hours.
The breakfast menu features classics such as omelets, pancakes, French toast, biscuits, and chicken and waffles. For lunch you can order wraps, burgers, bowls, sandwiches, and salads. Don’t forget to try the cinnamon rolls featuring house-made frosting. Everything is vegan, and you’ll be able to find gluten-free options as well.
