One of our favorite Seattle dessert shops is having a Labubu-themed event this weekend. Not only will you get a delicious treat in a blind box, but you’ll also get a chance to win special prizes.

On this Saturday, June 28, Trophy Cupcakes will be releasing an exclusive Labubu Blind Box Cupcake Drop at their University Village flagship. You’ll be able to purchase a cupcake sealed in a blind box. Only after you open it will you know what you got, which is part of the fun.
Some of the Labubu Blind Boxes will contain classic cupcakes but some will have surprises inside. One such surprise will be a Trophy Cupcakes gift card. And, according to Trophy Cupcakes, “one lucky ultra-rare box contains a very sweet surprise!” If you’d like to discover what that may be (we heard it might be a real Labubu!), you can line up on Saturday morning and take your chances. The worst-case scenario is you eat a cupcake.
Labubus are small plush toys sold by Pop Mart. Fans love the little monsters’ mischievous grins and the excitement of not knowing which one you’ll get inside a blind box. Since they went viral they’ve been difficult to actually purchase; Pop Mart’s USA site currently has all of the Labubu products listed as out of stock.
Trophy Cupcakes’ Labubu cupcake series is a limited edition run. There will only be 24 dozen of these cupcakes available and there is a purchase limit of four per customer. There will also be giveaways and a signature Lychee Berry Chaos Slushie.
Trophy Cupcakes will open their doors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday but they encourage fans to get there early to get a good spot in line. You can join the queue as early as 8:00 a.m.
