Seattleites have been raving about Fever and Netflix’s pulse-racing Stranger Things Experience, and just like all good things, the adventure is now packing its bags. But there’s no need to be kicking and screaming like Eleven during her many breakdowns: you can still experience the Upside Down in all its glory through September 4th at 1750 Occidental Ave.
The storyline has been meticulously crafted by the actual show creators, so you’re sure to embark on a completely new adventure once you step through the doors of Stranger Things: The Experience. You have a few weeks to unlock your powers and free Hawkins from the grips of Vecna. Ready to join the gang?
Get transported back to 1986 Hawkins before Stranger Things: The Experience closes on September 4!
It’ll truly feel like a blast from the past as you step inside the decked out venue. Every detail and easter egg brings you closer to Hawkins, Indiana — from bodacious neon lights to beloved elements from the show (we loved the eggo waffles displayed around the Mix-Tape area).
And while we can’t tell you much about the experience itself, just know it’s one for the books. You’re originally called to partake in a sleep study, but soon you find out it’s much more than that: Dr. Brenner, untrustworthy scientists and demogorgons… There’s a lot to unpack. Luckily, the gang will be helping you out on your quest to save Hawkins from all these evil forces — and the terrifying Vecna.
And once you’ve made it out victorious, there are plenty of surprises that await at Mix-Tape! It’s a medley of Stranger Things-inspired locations where you’ll find set representations like the Byers’ living room, Surfer Boy Pizza and the ocean of flavor that Scoops Ahoy has to offer. If eating a sundae at Scoops Ahoy has been on your list, you’ll be sure to tick that off (ahoy!) There’s also a themed bar called The Upside, where you can enjoy cocktails and mocktails.
Plenty of photo-ops will be available on site, with kind staff members helping you to snap the best memories. And if you’re feeling super ‘80s, don’t miss out on the vintage photobooth!
