The Seattle Majestics, the Emerald City’s women’s tackle football team, are still recruiting players for the 2026 season—and they want athletes of all backgrounds and experience levels. If you bring heart, hustle, and a real desire to compete, the Majestics want to hear from you. The team is actively building its roster and still has open spots to fill.

As Seattle’s premier women’s tackle football franchise, the Majestics compete in the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC), playing full-contact, 11-on-11 American tackle football in full pads. The organization has been competing for 19 seasons and became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014, reinforcing its long-term commitment to both the sport and the community.
Practices are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturday in Kent—about a 30-minute drive from Seattle. The season kicks off in March and includes three home games and three away games, with travel to Kansas City, Salt Lake City, and Portland. If the team advances, postseason playoff games may also be part of the schedule.
Players who earn a spot can expect to join a high-level, competitive program while forming strong, lasting connections with teammates. New to football? No problem. The Majestics’ coaching staff is prepared to teach players the fundamentals and help them grow at every position.
Beyond the field, the Majestics are deeply invested in giving back. The team regularly visits local schools and Boys & Girls Clubs to encourage athletic participation among women and girls. They also volunteer with organizations such as the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and Make-A-Wish, making community involvement a core part of the Majestics experience.
