Seattleites must have a lot of little joyful moments in our daily lives because according to a new study by WalletHub, Seattle is ranked as the 18th happiest city in the entire United States.
The new report by WalletHub examined more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities to determine which is the happiest. They ranked each city in three different categories like Emotional & Physical Well-Being, Income & Employment, and Community & Environment and examined each city based on 29 key indicators of happiness. These indicators include factors like Life-Satisfaction Index, Adequate-Sleep Rate, Income-Growth Rate, Job Satisfaction, Weekly Work Hours, Ideal Weather, and Average Leisure Time Spent per Day.
Environment plays an important role in happiness according to experts, and the great news is that Seattle’s environment is conducive to making us that much happier. We have delicious food and coffee, beautiful nature surrounding us, and a vibrant art and music scene. Let’s go out and fully enjoy the 18th happiest city in the country.
