We have exciting news for ice cream lovers in Seattle! Portland-based ice cream company Salt & Straw is opening a scoop shop at Pike Place Market this November. When it opens, Seattle customers will get the chance to try an exclusive limited-time menu item that weekend!
Read on for all the details!
The new Salt & Straw scoop shop will be located at 102 Pike Street, directly across from Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market. The exact opening date is Friday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. Once it’s open, we highly recommend getting your ice cream and taking it to the new Overlook Walk for a treat with a view.
If you make it to the grand opening weekend, you will get to try a new and exclusive menu item available for a limited time! The Pike Place Sundae will be a collaboration with Pike Place Fish Market, which has everyone wondering if Salt & Straw has something fishy up their sleeve—after all, they’re known for quirky ice cream flavors such as Pear and Blue Cheese. Their menu gets updated every month with unique, locally-crafted flavors. They offer dairy-free and gluten-free flavors as well.
Salt & Straw also opened a new scoop shop in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood this year (at 2201 Queen Anne Ave N). You can find additional Salt & Straw scoop shops in Seattle’s Ballard and Capitol Hill neighborhoods (at 5420 Ballard Ave NW and 714 E Pike St., respectively), as well as in nearby Kirkland and Redmond.
