Trader Joe’s is getting ready to open another Seattle location—this time at Northgate Station.
The popular grocery chain confirmed on Friday that its seventh Seattle store will be located at 401 N.E. Northgate Way in the Northgate Station shopping center. News about the location first surfaced back in July, when The Seattle Times reported on it.
There’s no official opening date yet. Spokesperson Nakia Rohde said Tuesday that the timing is still up in the air. In the meantime, the company says it’s excited to join the neighborhood and is working behind the scenes to get things ready. Hiring hasn’t started yet either, according to its job site.
Northgate isn’t the only place in the Seattle area getting a new Trader Joe’s—another store is also planned for Woodinville at 14035 N.E. Woodinville Duvall Road. Altogether, there are about 30 Trader Joe’s locations across the state of Washington.
Northgate Station is a popular shopping center in the area that is already home to a mix of familiar names such as Barnes & Noble, Chipotle, and Nordstrom Rack. In addition to the new Trader Joe’s, Northgate Station is about to add several more heavy hitters to its lineup. Additional stores expected to open at Northgate Station in 2027 include Joe & The Juice, Mendocino Farms, Shake Shack, and Supreme Dumplings, according to a spokesperson.
