2025 was a big year for waterfront saunas in Seattle. We wrote about Tuli Lodge on Pier 62, a “social sauna” on the Seattle Waterfront that will be here through early spring 2026. Now we’re sharing the scoop on Good Day Sauna, a more convenient option for those living across the bridge in West Seattle.
Read on for all the details!
Good Day Sauna is a mobile sauna located in West Seattle’s scenic Lincoln Park, just steps from Puget Sound. This wood-fired cedar sauna describes itself as “your invitation to pause, breathe, and connect with the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest.” A large window offers a view of the water and (if you time it right) stunning sunsets. Since it’s a mobile sauna, it sometimes leaves Lincoln Park to service events and private bookings around Seattle.
Like most other Nordic-style saunas, Good Day Sauna encourages visitors to combine the heat therapy of the sauna with a cold plunge. Since the sauna is located just steps from the water at Lincoln Park, you can step out in between rounds to plunge in the sound “like a brave Nordic warrior” (as Good Day puts it).
Up to 15 people can fit comfortably in the sauna, so you can expect to share your time with other Seattleites. If you prefer to avoid small talk with strangers, Good Day Sauna also offers Silent Sauna Hour, described as “a meditative session designed for quiet reflection and deep presence” with “no talking—just the sound of breath, waves, and wood crackling.” You’ll simply choose a silent session instead of a regular session when booking on the website.
Ready to try it out? You’ll want to bring a swimsuit or gym clothes, one towel to sit on and another for drying off, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Remember to shower before you arrive (there are no showers located on-site) and don’t stay in the sauna for longer than 20 minutes per round.
Good Day Sauna is located at 8011 Fauntleroy Wy SW in West Seattle. You can book a single visit or a multi-visit package on the sauna website.
