Don’t miss out on the epic Gold Bar closing party next week, Seattle!
If you haven’t been to Gold Bar in South Lake Union, this is your last chance to experience one of Seattle’s quirkiest bars. Although you’ll still be able to go to Gold Bar’s newer Capitol Hill location, the original location in SLU is about to permanently close. The Gold Bar closing party is happening from October 7 to 9, and presale tickets are available now. True to Gold Bar’s creative spirit, the party is going to be full of unexpected activities and over-the-top fun.
Read on for all the details!
Here are just a few of the things you can expect at this three-day, indoor/outdoor goodbye bash: cash cannons, a Bloody Mary bar, a healthy juice bar, bottomless mimosas, jell-o shots, piñatas, bar top dancing, and glitter explosions.
And, of course, you’ll be able to enjoy the perks of Gold Bar’s South Lake Union location for just a little longer. These include the outdoor patios, Caribbean cocktails, and the incredibly Instagrammable rooms inside. Once the building is demolished in a couple weeks, SLU Gold Bar will be no more. (You’ll have to go to their Capitol Hill location for their delicious Boo’s Booze.)
The fun starts on Friday, October 7 with DJs, live music, a dance party, and prizes. Then on Saturday and Sunday you’ll be able to enjoy brunch on both days with bottomless mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar, before dancing well past sunset while being surrounded by piñatas, glitter, and cash cannons.
Admission is $25 per person and grants access to all three days. This event is for ages 21 and up only.
You can get tickets and find out more info about it by visiting the event website.
