There are two main parts to the event: the daytime $4 Food Walk and the after-hours Street Party. The U-District Food Walk is from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be more than 50 Seattle restaurants and eateries providing $4 bites! You’ll be able to sample everything from “brunch bites” and Hawaiian classics like poke to beverages like coffee and bubble tea.
While you explore the culinary offerings throughout the Food Walk, there will be live music and entertainment at the Xfinity Main Stage on University Way NE.
If you stay out late, you can check out the Street Party, which runs from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. In addition to a DJ and dancing in the streets, there will be a breakdancing competition for those who are feeling brave.
The foodie fun doesn’t stop at 6:00 p.m. either. The evening Street Party features the same budget-friendly menu of $4 offerings, but with the addition of $4 cocktail, wine, and beer specials.
If you plan to go, there’s no need to buy tickets or register ahead of time. Admission to the food walk and street party is free. For more info, you can visit the event website.
