Start your New Year the healthy way by participating in one of these free First Day Hikes at Washington State Parks. These fun events offer the chance for everyone to get outside and experience Washington’s beautiful state parks. While all events are completely free, you may need to register for some hikes.
Visitors can participate in staff-led and self-guided hikes, snowshoe excursions, trail rides, polar plunges, scavenger hunts, and more at more than 30 WA State Parks on New Year’s Day.
