Forever Twilight in Forks is an annual festival that takes place across four days every September. The town of Forks, Washington welcomes Twilight fans from around the globe for this free event. It’s the biggest Twilight fandom celebration in the world, and it takes place in the exact town that Stephenie Meyer chose as the setting for her saga.
Speaking of Stephenie Meyer, the Twilight author will be the guest of honor at this year’s festival. This year is special because it is the 20th anniversary of Twilight. Meyer will be at Thursday’s Welcome to Forks Party for a special Q&A session as well as a lottery-based book signing event on Saturday. The lottery for the book signing event has closed, but Meyer’s Q&A session on Thursday will be live streamed for those who can’t make it in-person. Meyer may also be present at other parts of the festival, as she shared on her website: “We have some fun events planned for you (and maybe a few surprises).”
In addition to Stephanie Meyer’s appearances, the festival will have other celebrity guests present as well. Twilight actors such as Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli will attend the festival this year. Plus there will be a grand bazaar with vendors, panel discussions, hikes and group excursions to local Twilight locations, themed parties, and activities at the Forks High School. And, of course, there will be a screening of Twilight!
Ready to journey to Forks? Tickets are required for some of the festival’s events, but general admission to the festival is free and does not require a ticket. You can find the schedule and more info on the festival website, and read our guide to visiting Forks before you go!
