Bella, Edward, and Jacob are returning to Washington this fall! Lionsgate and Fathom Entertainment announced that in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Twilight novels, they will be rereleasing all five Twilight movies in theaters across the country this fall. The Twilight movie marathon will run from October 29 through November 2, and we know exactly which Seattle movie theaters will be participating.
Read on for all the details!
Tickets are on sale now for the Twilight movie marathon. Each movie will be shown on a separate day, and separate tickets will be required for each one. Here are the dates that each movie will be playing in theaters:
- Wednesday, October 29: Twilight (2008)
- Thursday, October 30: New Moon (2009)
- Friday, October 31: Eclipse (2010)
- Saturday, November 1: Breaking Dawn: Part 1 (2011)
- Sunday, November 2: Breaking Dawn: Part 2 (2012)
Not only will you get to see the films on the big screen again (or for the first time!), but there will also be additional content to enjoy. According to Fathom Entertainment, “Each film features new behind-the-scenes stories and untold moments from Stephenie Meyer and producers who helped bring the saga to life.”
As for the locations, these two Seattle movie theaters will be showing the Twilight marathon:
- Regal Meridian (1501 7th Ave)
- Regal Thornton Place (316 NE Thornton Place)
Some theaters will have more than one showtime per day. You’ll also be able to find the Twilight marathon at other movie theaters near Seattle such as at Cinemark Lincoln Square in Bellevue. The movie marathon will happen all across the state in Renton, Redmond, Lynnwood, Bremerton, Kent, Federal Way, Auburn, Everett, and more locations.
While you wait, there’s another fun Twilight event coming up this September. The annual Forever Twilight in Forks Festival will take place on September 11-14—and this year, author Stephanie Meyer will be the guest of honor. Forks, WA is about a four-hour drive from Seattle (which you know if you read the books!) so you’ll probably want to make a weekend getaway out of it if you go.
