Calling all foodies: don’t miss Bite of Seattle this weekend!
If you love food, live music, and shopping then you’ll want to check out Bite of Seattle this weekend. The family-friendly food festival is taking place at Seattle Center from July 21 through July 23. Best of all: admission to the festival is free! Read on for all the details you need to know before you go.
First things first: let’s talk food. There will be over 100 food vendors this year, ranging from savory to sweet. Some of our favorite local eateries that will be at Bite of Seattle this year include:
- Luke’s Lobster
- Dumpling Tzar
- Maripili Tapas Bar
- Bell’s Cookies
- Dough Joy
- Puffle Up
- Pie Bar
- Lan Hand-Pulled Noodles
- Hatch Cantina
- Seoul Bowl
In addition to the many food vendors, there will also be a wine garden and three beer gardens for ages 21 and over. You’ll also be able to shop for locally crafted goods from artisan vendors, watch live cooking demos and cook-off battles, and enjoy live music.
This year’s headliners are Polyrhythmics on Saturday and Sir Mix-a-Lot on Sunday. There will be over 50 additional musical artists and DJs performing across three stages on all three days. To see the daily live music schedule, you can visit the event website.
The festival hours are 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Entrance to the festival is free, but you have the option to purchase a VIP ticket ($60-$75) if you’d like to elevate your experience. The Bite of Seattle VIP ticket includes:
- Entry to a designated VIP viewing area at the Mural Stage (main stage where the headliners will perform)
- Access to VIP restrooms at the Mural Stage
- Entry to a designated VIP viewing area at the Fountain Stage
- One ticket for the Beer & Cider Tasting Garden at Fisher Pavilion (good for five tastes)
One last thing to note is that you’ll probably want to download the CHEQ app before you go. CHEQ, Inc. is the creator of the festival and you can use their app to place your food orders at the festival, see the festival map, and more.
We’ll see you there, Seattle! Don’t forget to bring your appetite.
