Looking for a fun (and budget-friendly) way to spend a summer weekend? Bite of Seattle is back at Seattle Center from July 24–26, 2026, bringing three days of incredible food, live entertainment, and family fun. The best part is admission is completely free.
Running daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Seattle’s biggest annual food festival is the perfect place to sample everything from local food trucks to gourmet creations by some of the Pacific Northwest’s most celebrated chefs. With flavors from around the world and plenty of Seattle favorites, there’s something to satisfy every craving. The festival was voted Best Food Festival in the United States in 2016 and 2017 and now welcomes around 350,000 visitors each year.
The fun goes beyond the food. Adults 21 and older can cool off at one of three beer and wine gardens located at the Fountain, Mural, and Fisher areas. They’ll be serving craft beers, wine, and handcrafted cocktails throughout the weekend.
Music lovers can enjoy free live performances across multiple stages, including the Fisher, Mural, and Fountain stages. You might find a new favorite musical artist among the lineup of local talent.
If you’re looking to sharpen your culinary skills, stop by Fisher Pavilion for The Bite Cooks, where local and guest chefs take the stage each day. These live cooking demonstrations will offer tips, techniques, and inspiration.
Families will also find plenty to enjoy. Friday evening kicks off with Trivia Night at the Mural from 7:30–9 p.m., followed by a free outdoor screening of Wonka (2023) from 9–11 p.m. Bring a blanket, gather the kids, and settle in for a memorable (and free!) night under the stars.
