After its grand opening on April 1, Aslan Brewing Company’s new Seward Park location has quickly become a lively addition to the neighborhood. Taking over the former site of Zeeks Pizza at the corner of Genesee Street and 50th Avenue (4920 S Genesee St.), the expansion brings the brewery’s signature focus on 100% organic beer to South Seattle.
The new outpost is described by the company as a “pizza-forward space,” pairing its organic brews with a menu centered on freshly baked New York–style pizza. Alongside classic slices, the menu also includes gluten-free and vegan options, making it accessible to a wide range of diners. In addition to beer, guests can choose from wine and a selection of location-exclusive cocktails unique to the Seward Park spot.
Designed with inclusivity in mind, the space offers a family-friendly and dog-friendly environment. Outdoor patio seating provides a relaxed option for warmer days, while the interior features numerous televisions tuned to local teams like the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, and Seattle Sounders FC. The location also leans into Seattle’s sports culture by offering specials during Mariners games, in addition to its regular happy hour deals.
When announcing the new location, Aslan Brewing shared:
“Perfectly positioned near Genesee Park, we aim to serve as a natural extension of the neighborhood itself — a place to gather after a walk beneath the trees, a game well played, or a day spent by the water.”
This opening adds to Aslan Brewing’s growing presence in the region. The company already operates a taproom in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood and a taproom and eatery in Tangletown, along with two established locations in Bellingham.
The Seward Park location is open daily from noon to 10 p.m., offering a new neighborhood hub for organic drinks, casual dining, and community gathering.
