After a successful debut in 2025, Panda Fest is returning to Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion for three days of Asian food, art, and cultural programming. Running August 28–30, 2026, the festival is one of the fastest-growing outdoor Asian food and culture events in the United States, having welcomed more than 500,000 attendees across 13 events in 11 cities during its first year of operation. Seattle’s edition is shaping up to be bigger than ever.

A Culinary Journey Across Asia
Food is the centerpiece of Panda Fest, and the 2026 edition delivers on that promise in a big way. More than 60 food vendors and food trucks will serve upwards of 200 dishes representing cuisines from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and beyond. Notably, more than 50% of participating food vendors are based in the Seattle area, giving the event a distinctly local flavor alongside its pan-Asian scope. The 2026 lineup places a particular emphasis on accessibility, with a broader selection of budget-friendly options priced under $10, making the culinary experience welcoming to a wide range of attendees. From classic street food staples to inventive fusion bites, there is something for every palate.
Marketplace, Live Entertainment, and Cultural Programming
Beyond the food stalls, Panda Fest features a curated marketplace of 20+ vendors offering crafts, apparel, accessories, and artisanal goods inspired by Asian heritage. Cultural programming runs throughout all three days and spans traditional art demonstrations, contemporary dance, theatrical showcases, and live performances. Past editions have featured lion dances, sugar painting, paper cutting, calligraphy, and K-pop dance performances, though the full 2026 lineup will be announced closer to the event date. Pandas remain central to the festival’s identity, with attractions including a 15-foot inflatable panda, a panda bounce ring, themed treats, exclusive merchandise, interactive games, and photo opportunities spread throughout the grounds.
Upgraded Security and Guest Operations
For its 2026 return, Panda Fest has invested in improved safety infrastructure. All attendees will enter through designated security screening areas equipped with OPENGATE metal detection systems, supplemented by bag checks and handheld security wands. The festival has also added expanded check-in lanes and improved crowd flow throughout the enclosed Fisher Pavilion footprint. Organizers coordinate directly with the Seattle Police Department and Seattle Center staff to maintain security both inside the festival grounds and at exterior entry points.
Panda Fest co-founders Ang Zuo, a University of Washington graduate, and BiuBiu Xu have deep ties to the Seattle area and have cited community safety and inclusivity as core priorities.
Kids, Pets, Parking, and What to Know Before You Go
Panda Fest is a family-friendly event. Children under six enter free and receive a complimentary panda headband; children ages six and older require a ticket. Strollers are welcome. Only service animals are permitted on festival grounds — no pets. Outside food and beverages are not allowed, with exceptions made for medical dietary needs and baby formula. Small bags are permitted but subject to inspection at entry. The event takes place rain or shine, with delays or cancellations possible only in the case of severe weather. Parking is available on surrounding streets and throughout the Seattle Center campus.
Tickets and How to Attend
General Admission tickets are priced at $14, with VIP tickets at $35. Saturday tickets are $2 higher across all tiers due to peak demand. Walk-up gate admission is available at $20 per person, though entry is subject to venue capacity and is not guaranteed. Ticketed guests receive priority entry.
