Looking for a festive winter activity? Holiday Tea is being served daily at The George in Seattle. Every day throughout December you can reserve a seat for afternoon tea at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel’s fine dining restaurant The George.
Read on for all the details about this festive afternoon tea in Seattle!
Holiday Tea at the George costs $90 per person, so it’s definitely a “treat yourself” type of special event. This would make a lovely experience gift for someone who enjoys the finer things in life. The George itself is a stunning restaurant, and the Holiday Tea experience includes live music and champagne.
In addition to tea and champagne, there will be miniature desserts as well as savory items. The food menu includes traditional tea sandwiches with a PNW twist such as English cucumber, salmon lox, bay shrimp roll, and roast turkey with cranberry. There will also be freshly-baked scones served with jam, clotted cream, and lemon curd.
Although this is a fancy afternoon tea, children are welcome and enjoy a discounted price. If your little one is the type to enjoy getting dressed up and sipping tea in a fancy cup with their pinky raised, this is a special experience that they’ll always remember.
If you’re interested, make sure to hurry and make a reservation before the Holiday Tea stops being served at the end of December. You can also book a Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve dinner at The George. And, of course, be sure to stop by the Fairmont Olympic Hotel before the holiday season is over to see their stunning Christmas tree.
