If you’re spending your 2026 Labor Day weekend at Bumbershoot, you’ll want to plan ahead to make the most of your experience! The iconic music and arts festival at Seattle Center has an incredible lineup this year of live music, fashion shows, comedy showcases, skateboarding and wrestling competitions, film screenings, and more. It can be overwhelming trying to see it all. To guide you through this year’s Bumbershoot festival, we’re breaking down the various stages and arts districts below, so you can decide what you want to see and know where to find it!
Here’s this year’s map for Bumbershoot 2026:
Fisher, Mural, and Upper Courtyard Stages
At the main Fisher Stage, Saturday’s headliners are Lucy Dacus, Blood Orange, and Turnstile. On Sunday evening, the headliners at Fisher Stage are De La Soul, Orville Peck, and Death Cab for Cutie. Additional performers at Fisher Stage over the weekend include ATARASHII GAKKO! and Travis Thompson among others, with live music starting at 1:20 p.m. both days.
You’ll find additional musical artists at the Mural Stage and Upper Courtyard Stage throughout both days of the festival, such as Bikini Kill, Peaches, and TOKiMONSTA.
Rooftop District: “a panoramic arts piazza”
Ascend to the Rooftop District to experience the JUXT Stage, a “one-of-a-kind performance series curated by Michael Owcharuk that pairs regional musicians with contemporary dancers in unexpected live collaborations.” While you’re there you can enjoy local Washington wines at Vineshoot and get skyline views of the Main Stage.
Comedy Coop
Find the Comedy Coop at its new home inside Seattle Children’s Theatre. This year’s program is curated by Dan Hurwitz of The Disabled List and combines headlining comedians with rising local talent. A new addition this year is the Bumbershoot Comedy Showdown: “a live competition to crown Seattle’s funniest comic.”
Recess & Domes Districts
Located north of the International Fountain, the Recess and Dome Districts are full of whimsical performances and experiences.
In the Cat Circus, “rescue cats and kittens are doing absolutely nothing they’re told in a circus-inspired world built just for them.” All of the participating felines are adoptable from local shelters.
There will be two BUMBERMANIA performances each day at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. Presented by SOS Pro Wrestling, this is an “action-packed crowd favorite” that promises to be “much more than your typical wrestling show.”
At the Puppet Playhouse, there will be fast-paced puppet improv with all-ages performances during the day and a “rowdier” 18+ late-night version after dark. Presented by Bellingham’s beloved Upfront Theatre.
The Magic Dome offers daily “immersive” shows from local magicians, illusionists, and mentalists. You’re also advised to “keep an eye out for roaming magic throughout the festival grounds.”
Just to the south of the Recess & Domes Districts you’ll find Euro Bungee, “the gravity-defying festival favorite that turns trampolines and giant bungee cords into pure chaos.” Kids and adults under 200 pounds are invited to participate.
Videorama
Located at SIFF Film Center, Videorama features back-to-back short film screenings all weekend long from Scope Screenings, Seattle Film Society, the 48 Hour Film Festival, and more. After the films, you can hang back for filmmaker Q&As and creator conversations.
Fashion District
In the Fashion District, you’ll get to see original runway presentations and live acts from some of the Pacific Northwest’s most exciting designers and collectives, from Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week to a live musical performance in the evening by Nobi and the Force.
Gravity Park
Skaters and BMX riders will be showcasing live demos, high-energy sessions, and fast-paced best trick battles at Gravity Park throughout both days. The fun kicks off at 1:00 p.m. with Skate Like a Girl on both Saturday and Sunday.
Mermaid
Portland-based Una the Mermaid will be performing inside a 900-gallon aquarium, where she “creates captivating, up-close encounters that invite audiences into a surreal world inspired by ocean mythology.”
Flatstock
Located inside the Armory, Flatstock is an “eclectic art market” that “provides an ongoing series of opportunities to admire artwork in person and to meet the artists who created it alongside live printing demos.” You can purchase local artist prints, concert posters, Jimothy artwork, and more.
PROTEST! Gallery Show
The PROTEST! exhibit is “a powerful visual history of civil disobedience in Seattle,” presented by HistoryLink. It showcases historic Seattle protests from the 1919 General Strike to the George Floyd uprisings and CHOP.
