WildLanterns is an immersive experience illuminating Seattle this winter.
Held at the Woodland Park Zoo, the theme of the festival is nothing other than animals and nature, duh! There will be plenty of large-scale animal and nature scape lanterns representing natural environments from around the globe for you to see and explore. During a visit, guests will spot sightings of animal lanterns such as grizzly bears, snow leopards, gorillas, seat turtles, seals, giraffes, zebras, and other elusive creatures as they venture through the various exhibits.
WildLanterns is at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle from November 11, 2022 to January 22, 2023.
This immersive lantern exhibition is completely family-friendly and will also have three sensory friendly nights. Tickets are on sale now, and you will have to reserve a specific entry time in advance (between 4:00 and 8:30 p.m. each day). Ticket pricing starts at $30 for adults (ages 13+), $26 for children (ages 3–12), and free for toddlers (ages 2 and under). Please note the festival will be closed on Mondays, as well as for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
You will be able to purchase sweet and savory treats throughout the exhibition. You can also end your experience with a shopping trip at the Magical Memories Marketplace, where you can purchase a gift for the holiday season.
WildLanterns promises to be a unique, illuminated experience that will give you a chance to experience the Woodland Park Zoo like never before as you embark on an illuminated expedition through several natural habits filled with dazzling lanterns.
