If you weren’t able to score World Cup tickets for the upcoming Seattle matches, don’t worry: you can still take part in match day energy, no matter where you are in the city. Seattle will come alive during the World Cup with a wide range of public events across the city this June and July. From official fan zone celebrations and large-scale outdoor watch parties to indoor viewing parties and kid-friendly activities, fans of all ages will have opportunities to experience the tournament together. These events are designed to bring the excitement of the World Cup into neighborhoods, parks, and public spaces throughout Seattle. Best of all, they’re free!
World Soccer Fan Celebration at Seattle Center

Seattle Center is one of four official Seattle Fan Celebration sites and will host the free, family-friendly World Soccer Fan Celebration in partnership with the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena. Visitors can enjoy big-screen match viewings, DJ sets, a global marketplace, and activities across the campus.

If you want a can’t-miss World Cup hangout in Seattle this June, head to the Seattle Soccer Celebration at Pier 62 where the Seattle Sounders and Reign FC are transforming the waterfront into a one-of-a-kind floating fan zone. Set on a barge off Pier 62, this pop-up includes a mini soccer pitch and will host World Cup match screenings, youth programs, cultural events, and ticketed gatherings daily from June 11 through July 6.
Seattle Soccer House at Pacific Place

Pacific Place, in downtown Seattle, will become Seattle Soccer House for the World Cup—an all-weather indoor destination for fans. The space will feature a four-level screen for live match viewing, along with daily programming and FIFA retail. Guests can enjoy local food and drinks, including a sip-and-stroll experience on the second floor with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. There will also be ADA-accessible viewing areas, giveaways and prizes, autograph and photo opportunities with sports ambassadors and mascots, and kid-friendly activities.
Seattle Match Day Live at Victory Hall

The Seattle Mariners will present Seattle Match Day Live at Victory Hall in SODO, where fans can experience the energy of the stadium atmosphere while watching World Cup matches live on a 23-foot screen throughout the tournament. Like the other fan zones in Seattle, this is free and open to the public.
Pitchside at the Square

Across all six Seattle match days during the World Cup, Occidental Square will become Pitchside at the Square: a full-day, open-to-the-public gathering space in the heart of the city. The activation will bring together live music, interactive activities, and a beer garden, anchored by a custom-built soccer pitch where people of all ages and skill levels are invited to play and participate.
Free outdoor watch parties in Seattle parks

Parks across the city will come alive during the World Cup as Seattle Parks and Recreation hosts seven large-scale outdoor watch parties. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy live match screenings for free in popular Seattle parks including Green Lake Park, Lake Union Park, and more. Many events will also feature food vendors, cultural entertainment, prizes, and other unique experiences. See the locations and schedule.
Free watch parties at community centers

Seattle Parks and Recreation will also bring the tournament experience into neighborhoods across Seattle through 12 indoor watch parties hosted at these community centers. Friends and families can gather to watch matches for free in an accessible, climate-controlled setting.
In addition to match screenings, some of the community centers will offer activities for youth and teens, including futsal, soccer-themed gaming tournaments, and more recreational fun.
Youth soccer jamborees in city parks

SPR will host two large-scale youth soccer jamborees at Magnuson Park on June 20 and Delridge Playfield on June 27, offering opportunities for young players to get involved during the World Cup. The events will feature youth clinics, demonstrations, 5-on-5 mini-pitch play, and chances to meet coaches and local soccer players. Admission is free but registration is required.
Summer of Sports at Westlake Park

Summer of Sports, presented by Nordstrom, will transform downtown’s Westlake Park into a lively game-day watch party destination featuring a summer food and beverage kiosk and a Nordstrom VIP viewing area (for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final). This free viewing plaza is not just for the World Cup matches—a secondary 65-inch screen will also show daily coverage of Mariners, Storm, Reign, NBA Finals games, and more.

If you’re looking for a uniquely Seattle way to watch the World Cup, celebrate the city’s two biggest June events at once: Pride and the World Cup. Ballard’s neighborhood Pride celebration, Ballard Regnbue, blends LGBTQ+ festivities with a FIFA World Cup watch party, creating a brand-new, all-day festival filled with soccer, entertainment, and community celebration from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm. This event is free and will have kid-friendly activities. (Helpful hint: It’s pronounced RAYN-boo-uh and means rainbow in Norwegian and Danish).
Official fan zones in Washington

If you’re outside of Seattle, you can still participate in the fun on match days. There will also be fan zones throughout the rest of Washington in Bremerton, Bellingham, Everett, Olympica-Lacey, Tacoma, Spokane, Pasco, Yakima, and Vancouver, WA. See the exact locations.
