We love The Flora Bakehouse in Seattle for many reasons. This Beacon Hill bakery has a delicious mix of sweet and savory baked goods, some yummy vegan and gluten-free options, unique coffee drinks, and an upstairs patio with stunning views on sunny days.
Now that spring is in Seattle, our favorite seasonal treat has returned to the menu! You can now visit The Flora Bakehouse for delicious soft serve that can be enjoyed in a croissant cone. Read on for the yummy details.
The Flora Bakehouse announced on their Instagram this week that their soft serve is back for the spring/summer season. The soft serve is available to order every day after 11:30 a.m.
Their soft serve comes in several flavors, including a vegan ube flavor. We’re most excited about the option to eat it out of a croissant cone. The bakery’s partly-covered rooftop patio is the perfect place to enjoy their soft serve on a sunny day. (Hot tip: you can even rent out the patio for private events!)
The Flora Bakehouse is the newest addition to the Cafe Flora family in Seattle. Cafe Flora is a popular vegetarian restaurant that has been in Seattle’s Madison Valley neighborhood for almost 30 years. There is also Floret, a delicious vegetarian dining option located inside the Sea-Tac Airport with a grab-and-go counter as well as dine-in seating.
If you visit The Flora Bakehouse, be sure to try some of their other popular menu items. We love their twice-baked almond croissants and their vegan cinnamon rolls. They also have a bottle shop where you can shop for natural wine and other beverages.
For more information you can visit the bakery’s website or follow along on Instagram. Keep in mind before you go that The Flora Bakehouse offers street parking only, and does not have Wi-Fi.
