One of our favorite ways to say goodbye to summer in Seattle is to go to a sunflower festival! Luckily there’s quite a few sunflower festivals near Seattle at farms that are within driving distance. We rounded up the best ones that have acres of U-pick sunflowers, kid-friendly activities, and delicious food.

1. Sunflowers in Snohomish
Sunflowers in Snohomish takes place at Thomas Family Farm from July 28 through August 17. Admission grants you access to their 12-acre U-cut sunflower field as well as a sunflower maze. Get all the info on the farm website.

2. Mountainview Blueberry Farm Sunflower Festival
This sunflower festival at Mountainview Blueberry Farm in Snohomish runs from August 8 through August 31. They recommend you give yourself at least two hours to enjoy the U-pick fields of sunflowers and blueberries. They also have a butterfly release event on the weekends. 3. Schilter Family Farm Sunflower Experience
This year’s Sunflower Experience at Schilter Family Farm in Olympia will be August 16 through August 31 (closed Mon-Wed). You’ll get to take a wagon ride through five acres of sunflowers, plus you can get food from their farm market kitchen and adult beverages in the beer barn. 4. Sunflower Festival at Rutledge Family Farm
This experience on the Rutledge Family Farm in Olympia includes a wagon ride, activities, and a raffle. The Sunflower Festival runs on select days from August 16 through September 1. See more info on the farm website.

5. Bob’s Sunflower Experience
The annual Sunflower Experience at Bob’s Corn and Pumpkin Farm in Snohomish will run daily from August 23 through September 7. You can explore fields of over 50 varieties of sunflowers, plus lots of cute photo props. On the weekends they’ll have hayride wagon rides and limited concessions. Read more on the farm website.

6. Sunflower Days at Maris Farms
Sunflower Days at Maris Farms in Buckley is September 6 through September 21 this year. They’ll have five acres of sunflowers and zinnias, plus fun extras such as ziplines, a corn maze, a maker’s market, food and wine, and special evening events. Get more info on the farm website.

7. Lora Lee’s Sunflower Maze
Lora Lee’s Family Farm in Duvall, WA is open now through all of September (and possibly early October) for sunflower season. Note that they’re closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They’re currently offering a reduced $5 admission to their farm and sunflower maze. See more on the farm website.
