Here are the top events for St. Patrick’s Day in Seattle this year:
1. Emerald City Irish Film Festival
When: March 9-10
Where: Pacific Science Center
Cost: $10+
The annual Emerald City Irish Film Festival is back for two days this March at the Pacific Science Center IMAX Theater. Ticket pricing depends on how many films you’d like to see. Get tickets on the film festival website.
2. Kells St. Patrick Irish Festival
When: March 8-17
Where: Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub
Cost: Free to $25
The popular Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub at Pike Place Market is having ongoing events for their annual Irish festival through St. Patrick’s Day. Entry is free most days for live music, Irish fare, and beer. See the full schedule on the Kells website.
3. Kiss Me, I’m Irish! St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
When: March 15-17
Where: Jupiter Bar and more venues
Cost: $20
Get free entry to over half a dozen Seattle bars and pubs with your ticket for this St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl that starts at Jupiter Bar in Belltown. There will be drink specials, DJs, and more. Get tickets here.
4. St. Patrick’s Day Parade
When: March 16
Where: Jefferson St. & 4th Ave
Cost: Free
The annual Seattle St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Saturday, March 16. It starts downtown at Jefferson St. & 4th Ave at 12:30 p.m. and will run until approximately 2:00 p.m.
5. St. Patrick’s Day Demo and Dinner
When: March 16 at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Hotel Andra
Cost: $125
Chefs Chef Bridget Charters and Danae McLaughlin will demonstrate how to make classic Irish dishes with a modern twist while you enjoy “substantial tastes,” pints of Guinness, and signature cocktails. Get tickets on the Hot Stove Society website.
6. A free Irish Festival
When: March 16-17
Where: Seattle Center
Cost: Free
All ages are welcome to enjoy this free two-day Irish Festival at Seattle Center. There will be Irish dancing, Gaelic and genealogy classes, vendors, and more. See a detailed schedule and more info on the Seattle Center website.
7. St. Patrick’s Day Dash
When: March 17
Where: Seattle Center
Cost: $40+ ($20+ for kids)
This annual St. Patrick’s Day 5k starts at 9:00 a.m. at Seattle Center. Afterwards there is the St. Pats Post Dash Bash inside Fisher Pavilion for ages 21 and up with Guinness, food, and live music. Alternatively, if you’re doing the dash with your kiddos (there is a 1K Leprechaun Lap for ages 10 and under) you can take them to the all-ages (and free!) Irish Festival inside the Seattle Center Armory. Register to run here.
8. St. Patrick’s Day Lunch Cruise
When: March 17 at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Lake Union
Cost: $65
Take a scenic two-hour cruise on Lake Union and Lake Washington on this St. Patrick’s Day Lunch Cruise. You’ll enjoy three courses of Irish fare at your own private table while the captain narrates the sights. Get tickets on the Waterways Cruises website. Note: this lunch cruise is for all ages, but they also have a St. Patrick’s Day Party Cruise for ages 21+ on March 16.
9. Live music with Irish dancers
When: March 17 at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Kenyon Hall in West Seattle

Magical Strings will perform Celtic music while accompanied by Irish dancers at this concert on St. Patrick’s Day in West Seattle. Get tickets on the Magical Strings website.
10. St. Patrick’s Day Skate
When: March 17
Where: Kraken Community Iceplex
Cost: $15
The Kraken Community Iceplex is offering a St. Patrick’s Day-themed public skate from 1:30 to 3:15 p.m. on March 17. Traditional Irish music will play while you skate under green lighting. Afterwards you can enjoy beer specials at the 32 Bar & Grill. Register on the Kraken Community Iceplex website.
