Seattle’s getting a pretty fun excuse for a dessert crawl this month. From June 11–30, five local spots are teaming up for a World Cup Sundae Passport featuring soccer-inspired soft serve specials around the city.
The way it works is simple: pick up a passport card at any participating shop, try each World Cup-themed sundae, and collect stamps along the way. Once you’ve hit all five stops, turn in your completed card for a chance to win gift cards from the participating businesses.
The participating spots are The Flora Bakehouse, Spice Waala, Milk Drunk, The Window at Temple Pastries, and The Pastry Project.
The lineup includes a mix of playful and over-the-top creations inspired by different countries competing in the tournament. At The Flora Bakehouse, there’s “Bluey’s Pavlova Sundae” for Team Australia, made with strawberry soft serve, meringue, whipped cream, kiwi, and berries. Spice Waala is going with a Spain-inspired churro sundae featuring cardamom churros, vanilla ice cream, and hot chocolate fudge.
Milk Drunk is offering the Sweden-themed “Swede Tooth” with layers of chocolate espresso and raspberry swirl topped with berry mousse, cardamom crumble, whipped cream, and Swedish Fish. Over at The Window at Temple Pastries, Team Japan gets a matcha soft serve paired with strawberry guava sorbet and miso crumble. The Pastry Project rounds things out with a Brazil-inspired purple vanilla sundae topped with passionfruit curd and coconut cake.
The passport works like a classic punch card: buy the featured sundae at each stop, get your card stamped, and leave it with staff at your final stop by June 30 to enter the raffle.
Prizes include one grand prize winner receiving $125 total in gift cards across the participating shops, plus five runners-up who’ll each get a $25 gift card. Winners will be contacted July 7.
