If you’ve ever wondered what could make a Seattle Sounders match even more Seattle, the answer might be a barre class before kickoff.
This Saturday, Seattle Sounders FC is teaming up with Pure Barre for the second annual barre class at Lumen Field. Fans who purchase tickets through the special event offer will get early access to an exclusive Pure Barre class before the Sounders vs. LA Galaxy match on May 16. Along with the workout, attendees will also score a pair of Sounders FC grippy socks and a ticket to the match.
The event is open to everyone, whether you’re a longtime barre regular, a casual soccer fan, or just looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday in Seattle. Bring your friends, family, or your entire barre crew.
Here’s the schedule for the day:
- Check-in: 1:00 p.m.
- Pure Barre class: 1:30–2:30 p.m.
- Stadium gates open: 5:00 p.m.
- Kickoff: 6:00 p.m.
One important note: you must purchase a ticket through the official event offer to attend the class. Regular match tickets won’t grant access to the workout session.
Also, if you attended last year’s event, there’s one change this time around. Because of preparations related to the upcoming World Cup, the class will not take place on the pitch. Instead, participants will stretch, pulse, and tone on the pavilion area inside Lumen Field.
