The opening day of Winterfest on November 29 kicks off at noon with the Symetra Ice Spectacle at the International Fountain. There will be carolers, fire pits, and s’mores while artists create works of art with ice. This is a free, family-friendly event!
After the opening day, Winterfest continues throughout the rest of November and December with live performances on the Armory Stage every weekend, a World Bazaar with holiday gifts from international vendors, and the Winter Train and Village that has been a tradition for over 40 years. There will also be a free New Year’s Eve celebration at Seattle Center.
While you’re at Seattle Center, you can also pay to enter the Seattle Christmas Market which is back for its second year. Inspired by traditional European Christmas markets, it has shopping, festive food and beverages, and free entertainment. This part of the festival is ticketed, and passes are on sale now.
