Looking for a fun way to spend a summer afternoon in Seattle? The Seattle Art Museum just launched a brand-new mini golf experience at Olympic Sculpture Park for summer 2026, and it’s much more than your average putt-putt course.
Running from Wednesday, June 17 through Monday, September 7, the temporary attraction transforms the waterfront park into a creative, artist-designed mini golf course with unbeatable views. The experience is part mini golf course, part colorful art installation. While you play, you can soak up iconic Seattle views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and the Space Needle.
What makes this course especially unique is that each of the nine holes was created by a Seattle-based artist, highlighting the city’s vibrant local arts community. As you make your way through the course, you’ll experience imaginative designs and playful challenges inspired by the artists’ creative visions.
Mini Golf at Olympic Sculpture Park is open from noon to 8 pm Wednesday through Sunday, rain or shine, with the final tee time at 7:10 pm. Timed-entry tickets are required and can be reserved for groups of up to eight people.
Ticket prices are:
- Adults: $15 + tax
- SAM members and guests under 18: $10 + tax
- Kids ages 5 and under: Free
Food and drinks will be available for purchase onsite, though outside alcohol is not permitted.
Seattle Art Museum members also have an extra perk to look forward to this summer. In August, SAM will host a special Member Mini Golf Tournament on Sunday, August 30 from noon to 8 pm. Participants will compete on the artist-designed course for prizes that will be announced later this summer. Tickets for the tournament go on sale in July, and members are encouraged to watch their inboxes for additional details.
