Seattle reality TV fans have one more chance to get in on the Married at First Sight drama this weekend.
Season 20 of the reality series was filmed right here in Seattle last fall, marking the show’s first trip to the Pacific Northwest. The season followed seven couples who met for the first time at the altar, then spent roughly eight weeks living together and navigating the ups and downs of marriage with help from relationship experts.
After 20 episodes of awkward moments, relationship struggles and plenty of group drama, the season wrapped up with the finale and reunion airing Thursday, August 27.
Now Seattle fans can experience the juicy reunion at a watch party with members of the cast!
Several cast members are expected to be at three local reunion watch parties happening Friday and Saturday. Tori Dahl, one of the season’s cast members, announced the events on Instagram, inviting Seattle friends to grab their friends and a drink and watch the drama together.
The exact lineup of cast members hasn’t been confirmed, but Dahl’s announcement suggests the events will feature most if not all of the women from the season: “Come join the MAFS girls,” her post reads. It doesn’t appear that the male cast members will be joining, so this weekend is shaping up to be a decidedly girl-powered MAFS reunion.
The season itself had no shortage of drama. (Although the finale has aired, there are no spoilers here!) Devon and Caitlyn struggled with communication and connection, while Felipe and Tori found themselves at the center of controversy during a couples-retreat game. Sean and Nikki dealt with a lack of physical attraction and tension within the group. Cameron and Michelle, meanwhile, had one of the steadier relationships of the season.
