If you love matcha, you should know about an exclusive matcha workshop coming to Seattle this October! Nature’s Brew: Matcha Workshop has limited space for matcha enthusiasts to learn the traditional method of matcha preparation. It will take place at a swanky new hotel in Seattle and will be taught by one of the city’s most buzzy matcha cafes.

The matcha workshop will take place on Friday, October 10. It will start at 5:30 p.m. You can expect the workshop to run for about an hour. Tickets are on sale now.
1 Hotel Seattle will be hosting the matcha workshop. This newly-opened luxury hotel is located in South Lake Union. The workshop will take place on the hotel’s Drift Patio.
As for your teachers, Howdy Y’All will be guiding you through the workshop. This pop-up espresso and matcha bar has gained a cult following in Seattle. According to the event description, in addition to learning “the technique and mindfulness of traditional preparation,” you’ll also get to try “an exclusive fall-inspired flavor crafted only for 1 Hotel Seattle.”
Tickets cost about $60. This includes the workshop and a gift of matcha tools to take home with you. You’ll get to keep the tools provided at the workshop: a bowl, bamboo whisk, and glass so you can “continue the ritual at home.” Note that there is only room for 12 people in this workshop and tickets are going fast.
