Did you know you can see a live jazz concert in Seattle for free? Seattle Jazz Fellowship in Pioneer Square is one of Seattle’s most underrated hidden gems—and it’s the place to be on Monday nights, especially if you’re on a budget.

Seattle Jazz Fellowship hosts a free Monday Jazz Jam every week from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. for all ages at their jazz room at 103 South Main Street in Pioneer Square. Doors open at 6:30 and seating is first come, first served. Beer and wine is available for purchase. If you’d like to support their mission, you can make a donation at the door or even become a member, which will you get you access to exclusive events.
Seattle Jazz Fellowship also puts on fun monthly events such as Jazz Night in Pioneer Square on Tuesday, July 29. There will be a total of 14 musical artists playing across 14 venues in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. No tickets or RSVP required; just show up and enjoy the music for free!

- 6:00 p.m. at Skid Road Theatre and Long Books
- 6:30 p.m. at Bacovino and Zeitgeist
- 7:00 p.m. at Frederick Holmes Gallery, Cafe Paloma, Asylum, and Court in the Square
- 7:30 p.m. at The Central Saloon, Seattle Jazz Fellowship, and Baba Yaga
- 8:00 p.m. at Underbelly, Home Team, and Bishop
- 9:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.: after-party and jam session at The Owl ‘n Thistle

Seattle Jazz Fellowship is a nonprofit with a mission to: “build community, provide access to the mentorship cycle, incentivize excellence and lower barriers to access for both performers and listeners of jazz, a creation of Black American culture and struggle.” Their goal is to grow Seattle’s jazz community, which they do in part by offering free all-ages jam sessions.
