Looking for a one-of-a-kind road trip from Seattle this September? Head west to Forks, Washington, where the Forever Twilight in Forks Festival returns September 10–13, 2026.
Held every September, this four-day celebration brings Twilight fans from around the world to the small Olympic Peninsula town that Stephenie Meyer chose as the setting for her bestselling saga. Organized by the Forks Chamber of Commerce and a dedicated team of volunteers, the festival is free to attend and has grown into the world’s largest Twilight fandom event.
Beyond the festival, visitors can explore many of the real-life locations that inspired the series, including the region’s iconic beaches and lush rainforest. During festival weekend, Forks transforms into a welcoming fan experience with themed events, opportunities to meet actors from The Twilight Saga, and official Forever Twilight in Forks cast members portraying beloved characters like the Cullen Coven, Jacob Black, the Volturi, and more.
This year’s guest lineup includes Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), and Erik Odom (Peter). Fans can also attend panel discussions with the actors, themed parties, activities at Forks High School, movie screenings, and a variety of special events throughout the weekend.
The 2026 festival marks the 15th anniversary of Breaking Dawn – Part 1, with organizers promising their “most immersive experience yet.” Highlights of the festival include Twilight film screenings, a Quileute Healing and Drum Circle, a vendor bazaar, costume contest, actor photo opportunities and panels, a gala, and an author signing event. Twilight author Stephanie Meyer herself attended the 2025 festival; no word yet on whether she’ll make an appearance this year.
While some activities require tickets, general admission to the festival is free. If you’re planning the trip from Seattle, see the festival schedule here and check out our visitor’s guide to Forks to make the most of your weekend on the Olympic Peninsula.
