If you’re looking for an easy way to enjoy Seattle’s summer, Downtown Summer Sounds is back with another season of free live music in the heart of downtown Seattle. The 2026 concert series features a mix of internationally recognized artists, rising local musicians, and pop-up performances at parks and plazas across the city.
The season kicked off on July 9 at Westlake Park with world-touring soft rock group Infinity Song. Up next, the Marshall Law Band brings its energetic live show to Railroad Way North on Wednesday, July 15, followed by indie folk duo Ocie Elliott on the Westlake Park main stage on Thursday, July 16.
The Main Stage series continues every Thursday through August, with performances by John Craigie and Folk B*tch Trio at Westlake Park before the action moves to Occidental Square. August’s lineup includes Saba, Chasing Abbey, Seattle favorites La Luz, and G Flip.
In addition to the main stage concerts, Downtown Summer Sounds is hosting additional pop-up concerts throughout downtown at locations including Freeway Park, Union Square, Harbor Steps, Bell Street Park, Pier 66, and more. These smaller shows are a great chance to discover new artists while exploring different neighborhoods.
Concerts begin at either noon or 4 p.m., depending on the performance, so be sure to check the Downtown Summer Sounds schedule for exact start times before heading out.
While you’re there, stop by the Downtown Summer Sounds information booth to pick up free giveaways and grab a DSS stamp card. Attend five concerts during the series, collect a stamp at each one, and you’ll score a free reusable tote bag.
