Some people are getting a free day to de-stress after the election.
Election Day is always tense, but the day after can be even more stressful for some. That’s apparently why some Seattle area schools and businesses are encouraging their students and employees to take a flexible day off after the elections.
According to a report by The Post Millennial, a Google employee mentioned that their leaders suggested workers take the day off if needed to cope with the results. In addition, various schools in the region such as the Northwest School, a private boarding school in Seattle, seem to be allowing students to take the day off to process the results, while other schools including the University of Colorado Boulder are providing students with support resources.
