Global Sensation
Cat cafes have been going strong since they were first invented in Taipei, Taiwan way back in 1998. They’ve since become a global phenomenon spreading kitty cat shaped joy worldwide. For people who aren’t allowed to have pets in their rental apartments, the cat cafes are a way to spend time with cuddly friends without getting in trouble with their landlord. But they’re perfect for anyone who wants a more interesting and loveable cafe experience, even if you already have your own feline friends waiting for you at home.
Seattle is lucky enough to have two top cat cafes that are just perfect to visit on a lazy, rainy day. There’s nothing better than escaping into a cozy cafe and forgetting your cares while a kitty cat purrs on your lap. Read more about the cutest cat cafes Seattle has to offer.
