First and foremost, we have to talk about this year’s lineup. Friday night’s headliner is Charli XCX, Saturday’s is Jai Wolf, and Sunday’s is Diplo. Of course, there will be dozens of other amazing musical artists performing through all three days of the festival. You can see the entire lineup here. Below is the schedule.
There will be food trucks, a VIP lounge, beer gardens, and more available for you to enjoy in between sets. While you’re in Capitol Hill that weekend, you can also spend some time exploring the many cool restaurants, bars, and shops in the neighborhood.
Now for the nitty-gritty. The Capitol Hill Block Party starts on Friday, July 22 and continues through Sunday, July 24. The hours are 3:00 p.m. to midnight on Friday, 1:00 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, and 1:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Sunday.
It takes place in the lively Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle (hence the name). The primary entrance is at 1122 E Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98112 (East Pike Street & 12th Avenue), which is where you can purchase or pick up tickets as well as check in if you have a VIP ticket. You can also enter at the East Pine Street & 12th Avenue entrance if you have a printed or mobile ticket already purchased. See info about purchasing tickets here.
Capitol Hill Block Party is open to all ages, but there are some stages, beer gardens, and lounges that are for ages 21 and up only. The festival is not dog-friendly, so leave your furry friend at home. You should definitely plan to bring an empty water bottle to fill up at the water stations once you’re there. The festival is entirely outside, rain or shine.
