Dearest Reader,
Although I generally prefer to keep the society papers on the whisperings side of things, I cannot help but write when I have news of a most intriguing event. Many of you may already be familiar with the concert series to which I dedicate this entry, and it is taking an exciting direction this season with the Best of Bridgerton on Strings. The hit series held onto the hearts of millions thanks to its gripping tale set in the Regency Era.
In addition, its soundtrack is certainly something to celebrate. And this is exactly what the Candlelight series intends to do. Fortunately, tickets are on sale now! You can count on this spectacle to recapture how you felt when seeing stolen kisses, following long drawn-out love stories, and watching one or two hearts break while listening to “Give Me Everything” (Pitbull), “thank u, next” (Ariana Grande), and more.
The Best of Bridgerton on Strings
If anyone shall reveal the circumstances of this concert, it is I.
Expect to be surrounded by thousands of flickering candles and to go on a musical journey. Just like the ensembles delighting guests at elegant balls in Bridgerton ballrooms, a talented string quartet is taking to the stage to perform pop hits in the classical form. It comes as no surprise that this concept has grown in popularity as it manages to hold the attention of modern audiences. What’s not to like about a traditional take on a song like Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” after all?
Other tracks such as Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything”, Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy”, and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” were part of the show’s most pivotal, racy, and dramatic moments, and the skilled musicians intend to inspire a true firework of emotions.
Her Majesty herself wouldn’t dream of missing this captivating experience coming to the magnificent confines of Town Hall Seattle.
When it comes to the good and the bad, I refrain from withholding information, and so should you, dear reader. In the spirit of sharing, spread the word about Candlelight’s latest program!
Yours truly,
Lady Whistledown
