Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival will return to Seattle Center beneath the Space Needle for its 54th year on Labor Day weekend, September 5–6, 2026. Along with the return of its eclectic mix of music, visual art, food, and performance, the festival is introducing several fan-focused changes aimed at making the event more accessible and flexible for attendees.
The most immediate change is lower ticket pricing with no additional fees. Single-day tickets will start at $70.50, while weekend passes begin at $125.50—and the listed price is the final price, with no hidden fees. Organizers say the adjustment is designed to make the long-running festival more affordable for the community that has supported it for more than five decades.
Another major update is the introduction of a new “In-and-Out Re-Entry” ticket option. In addition to standard General Admission and Deluxe passes, festivalgoers can now choose a General Admission + Re-Entry ticket that allows them to leave and return to the festival grounds during the day. The new option offers added flexibility for those who want to explore the surrounding neighborhood, take a break, or split their festival experience across the day.

Bumbershoot is also eliminating traditional beer gardens in favor of a campus-wide “Sip & Stroll” open-container program. Rather than being limited to designated drinking areas, guests will be able to purchase beverages and carry them throughout most of the festival grounds while exploring stages, art installations, and food vendors. The change aims to create a more relaxed, integrated festival atmosphere.
Children 12 and under will receive free admission when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult, a policy that the festival says is “in keeping with Bumbershoot’s community-first spirit.”
With more than 50 years of history celebrating the region’s creative culture, Bumbershoot remains one of the country’s longest-running independent arts festivals. We will share all of the lineup and programming announcements for the 2026 festival as they’re announced in the coming months! You can get tickets and more info on the Bumbershoot website.
