Watching a soccer match can be an exhilarating experience for fans, especially when viewed from the right soccer bar. If you’re looking for a place to catch a World Cup match with other soccer fans in Seattle this summer, we have just the place for you.
USA TODAY Sports recently released its list of the 20 best soccer bars in the country, and one Seattle favorite made the cut: The Atlantic Crossing on Woodlawn Ave. NE in Green Lake. The bars were selected by an expert panel and ranked by USA TODAY Sports readers. Here’s what USA TODAY had to say about The Atlantic Crossing:
“Part of Seattle’s bar and restaurant scene for over 20 years, Atlantic Crossing Pub has been a go-to hangout for soccer fans. The lively atmosphere is complemented by an extensive menu that serves up everything from post-work bites to weekend brunch and more. A soccer mecca in the city, the AC is the place for English Premier League, Seattle Sounders, Seattle Reign — and yes, we’d be amiss not to mention the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks games as well.”
The Atlantic Crossing has deep ties to Seattle’s soccer community. The pub partnered with the Sounders to become the home bar for the Emerald City Supporters and has also worked with the U.S. Soccer Federation and the Reign. It serves as Seattle’s official bar for English Premier League club Arsenal and hosts the local chapter of the American Outlaws, the largest supporters group for the U.S. men’s and women’s national teams. Over the years, the bar has become closely tied to both the city and the sport itself.
Originally opened in Seattle’s Roosevelt neighborhood in 2004, The Atlantic Crossing relocated to Green Lake in 2024. The current location, on the corner of 72nd Street and Woodlawn Avenue, features nine TVs showing soccer matches year-round. Its newer space offers a more family-friendly atmosphere than the original location, so feel free to bring the kids to join in on the World Cup excitement. Just be prepared for a crowd.
